CONTEMPLATIVE WALKING - MEDITATION WORKSHOP
Contemplative Walking is an ancient method to change the mental activity and gain a state of deep relaxation and clear awareness. Contemplative Walking is an advanced Yogic technique and is practiced in famous spiritual traditions as Buddhism or Christian monkhood. It can be used to improve your meditation practice, prepare for longer sitting sessions or as a problem-solving method. It is said to be, when mastered, the end of any fears.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
In the practice of contemplative walking, we use the physical movement
to align body, mind and our breath. There are different ways and stages to apply this practice in the right way. In several steps we will learn how to coordinate and refine our movement, our breath and our mental states.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In 5 hours-Workshop we move step by step deeper into meditative practice of walking meditation and can explore the magic of this ancient practice. This workshop is comprised of small lectures and several practice sessions, so you can understand and experience the effects of contemplative walking in your own body and mind.

CONTEMPLATION AND INNER DIALOG
After refining the physical method, we integrate contemplation. Contemplation is not thinking as we use different parts of our brain and our brainwaves are very different from our waking states. We will learn how to enter the inner dialogue which is a powerful technique to listen to our inner wisdom and the subconscious mind. All answers lie inside of us. With the deep understanding of the Yogic practice, we can access our inert knowledge and find our answers and truths.
WHO CAN JOIN?
This workshop is designed for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Many people struggle with the immobility in traditional silent sitting meditation. For beginners contemplative walking can be a wonderful initial step towards meditation and an easy approach to deeper states of awareness without sitting. Contemplative walking will introduce you to the meditative states and teach you the proper way of breathing and self-control of mental activity. For experienced meditators this technique is essential to be integrated into your Sadhana. Especially in Mauna sessions and for directed problem solving this powerful technique is feasible. Advanced practitioners who practice Contemplative walking frequently can gain easy access to the inner wisdom and talk directly to their subconscious mind.

For the practice the scientific and spiritual background will be explained and then applied. All sessions will be recorded and you will have access to the videos, sequences and guidances in your personal Video Library, so you can watch again or at another time. You can write your questions and observations into the comments and I can answer you there.
ABOUT YOUR REACHER
Elli Ji has trained individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs in Nepal, India, and Europe. Her qualifications include an MSc in Human Biology, Yoga Teacher Education, as well as training in TCM, Hypnosis, Reiki, and Meditation. In-depth immersion into Yoga Nidra and Pranayama has found the way into and influence the teaching of the applied techniques and trainings. With a comprehensive background she teaches the physiological, neuronal, and hormonal pathways, as well as the spiritual aspects that result from Yogic practices. She integrates the neurological and physiological effects of Yogic techniques, providing detailed insights for a holistic understanding to ignite a development towards holistic health and inner fulfillment.

How does it work?
You register for the course and send me your SKYPE name. I will add you to the group and you receive a call every time we meet for life practice.
After the session you have access to the video for one month to watch again or at your perfect time. Handouts will be posted into the group for download every class as well as a guided Pranayama practice for everyday application.
